The Power Building Collective of Texas recognizes the importance of serving BIPOC/ALAANA (Black Indigenous People of Color/African, Latine, Asian, Arab, and Native American) individuals and families with children from prenatal to five years old. We understand that the needs and priorities of these communities are best understood and addressed when approached from the perspectives of those who are part of these communities. We are dedicated to centering the lived experiences and voices of BIPOC/ALAANA leaders in PN-5 supported spaces, by uplifting the power of highly underinvested communities and organizations, through shifting the power dynamics and creating thriving communities. We believe in amplifying the voices and experiences of transformative and resilient leaders to bring about positive impact and to create a more equitable society.
